Teaching

I design and deliver executive education to senior business leaders and major organisations in the UK and internationally. This training includes women’s leadership and gender bias in financial services. I collaborate with The Global Institute for Women’s Leadership.

“These executive courses are where I work with business leaders to prove how the benefits of diversity and equality are not simply reputational…they lead to measurable profitability and productivity increases. And the feedback I get from them as to what works in different sectors is priceless.”
“The next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders already has equality and sustainability at the top of their To Do list …my job is to show them how this can also  gain investment and market share ”

My students and the attendees of my courses all get the benefit of my experience as an entrepreneur,  a high flying female banker, a practising psychotherapist and as an academic conducting original research in the field.

I teach at postgraduate level for King’s Business School specialising in Commercial and Investment Banking & Corporate Finance. My students are working towards their Masters in Asset Pricing or Banking & Finance. My job is to inspire them to become a future generation of responsible bankers and investors who place sustainability, equality and care for our planet at the centre of their future decision making.

TESTIMONIALS

“The session was very interesting and illuminating (2018).“

“I found your session extremely enlightening (2019).“

“Ylva provided outstanding support in Commercial & Investment Banking, and she inspired me personally to take interest in a broader array of subjects outside of that class. She is a wonderful role model for women in finance, and has done a great job of inspiring the young women in our class to become more confident in this field. She has also exposed us to a broad array of learning opportunities outside of the classroom, which have been particularly valuable to me. I very much value her guidance and support. (2019)
