I teach postgraduate students, MSc in Asset Pricing and MSc in Banking & Finance at King’s Business School. Modules which I teach include Commercial and Investment Banking & Corporate Finance. My teaching philosophy includes a strong focus on creating a future generation of responsible bankers and investors who place important issues such as sustainability, equality and care for our planet at the centre of their future decision making. I bring the experience from my banking career, as an entrepreneur, a psychotherapist as well as a researcher into my teaching.

“Ylva provided outstanding support in Commercial & Investment Banking, and she inspired me personally to take interest in a broader array of subjects outside of that class. She is a wonderful role model for women in finance, and has done a great job of inspiring the young women in our class to become more confident in this field. She has also exposed us to a broad array of learning opportunities outside of the classroom, which have been particularly valuable to me. I very much value her guidance and support. (2019)“
I design and deliver executive education to senior business leaders and major organisations in the UK and internationally. This training centres around women’s leadership and gender bias in financial services. I collaborate with The Global Institute for Women’s Leadership.
At King’s Business School I co-run the Student Investment Portfolio which gives students real life experience as securities analysts. Here is a link to the launch even that we hosted 4 February 2019:
